FILM AND TELEVISION

We understand that film and television is a fast-paced industry with demanding deadlines, and at Enable Hire, we’re well-rehearsed in meeting those demands efficiently and effectively.

We work extensively with the sector, supplying to contractors and security firms at locations that range from the heart of London to the middle of nowhere. Come to us for everything from honey wagon and welfare units through to scissor lifts and cherry pickers. Keen to keep the set secure? We can supply a call centre-connected CCTV tower. Need power tools for the crews working on the ground? From cordless drills to hedge cutters, we have it covered. Where utilities are an issue, we can supply water bowsers. And, of course, no set can run without electricity: we offer generators in a range of sizes, as well as our Solar Pod hybrid power generator – an eco-friendly solution that also cuts down on noise and fuel consumption.

Our immaculately maintained welfare vans and units are self-contained. No mains required. They not only come with all the facilities you would expect, including heating and clothes-drying rooms, but you can also specify some very welcome extras, such as USB sockets and air conditioning. Our offer includes welfare vans, towable welfare units of various sizes and the option of a full set-up service, so that even sites with challenging access present no problem.

We are acknowledged low-carbon hire experts – an area that is a key concern for many in the industry. Our welfare unit engines/generators can all run on HVO biofuel, as well as ordinary white diesel, while most of the range offers hybrid power generation. So while your people are inside recharging their batteries, our solar panel-equipped vans and units are topping up theirs. The ultimate eco solution comes from our hydrogen-powered ZERO CO2 welfare trailer, which has the added benefit of near-silent operation with no vibrations.

Enable Hire offers the film and TV sector high-quality rentals of plant, tools and welfare facilities – and without all the drama!
